Information We Collect

Name & Email: We collect your name and email address during the sign-up process to provide personalized services and communicate with you.

2. Photos

Access to Photos: We may access your photos to provide a personalized experience during sign-up and to save phishing screenshots in your gallery. The photo is never shared with any third party.

3. Messages (SMS & MMS)

Access to Messages: We collect and analyze SMS and MMS messages to detect and prevent phishing attacks. This helps us identify and block malicious messages that may compromise your security.

4. App and Performance Data

Crash Logs: We collect crash logs and performance data to improve the app's stability and performance. This information helps us diagnose and fix issues to enhance your user experience.

5. Device Information & Other IDs

Device Info: We collect information about your device, including the model, operating system, and unique device identifiers. This data is used to provide device-specific support and improve the app's functionality.

6. Web Traffic

SlashNext’s Services mitigate the risks of social engineering and related attacks targeting enterprise employees who use mobile devices and web browsers. Leveraging a robust sensor network and machine learning driven cloud intelligence, the SlashNext Services identify and block malicious sites as you browse the web, or access URLs from within your SMS, social media or other apps. In order to detect malicious sites, the Endpoint Security Product compares your web traffic to a list of known malicious websites, all on your device. When a malicious, phishing webpage is encountered, the Endpoint Security Product sends information regarding that malicious, phishing webpage to SlashNext, including that your device encountered the webpage, and the date and time the encounter occurred. None of your other web traffic is sent to SlashNext.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Improve Services: To provide, maintain, improve, and enhance our Services. For instance, we may aggregate information collected from your device to conduct research and provide insight into device security and threats. In these instances, the aggregated information included in the research is anonymized;
• To Communicate with You: We use your email address to sign you up, send important updates, security alerts, and notifications related to the app.
• To Ensure Security: We analyze messages to detect and prevent phishing attacks, ensuring your device remains secure.
• To Improve Performance: We use crash logs and performance data to identify and fix issues, improving the overall performance of the app.
